One of the most remembered urban rock band of the eighties is back. The band that covered Buenos Aires (Argentine) with stickers advertising its name to show songs that merge, perfectly, English and native rock with tango sounds of modernity. Canturbe manage to record their first album at the end of 1980 with “El vuelo de los olvidados” (“The fly of the forgotten”), which can’t be called that way (the song with the same name talks in poetic terms el about the arrested and missing people) because of the dictatorship’s prohibition. The new material counts with thirteen new songs composed by Jorge. Of course, it has an urban progressive ambient, returning to that old style, but focus in the present time, overall in the lyrics. Ha sido publicado el nuevo álbum de Canturbe, para muchos uno de los grupos más importantes de los ochenta dentro del estilo urbano en Argentina. El nuevo trabajo se llama “Sociedad secreta de melancólicos” y consta de trece canciones inéditas de Jorge Garacotche. La producción artística es del propio Jorge Garacotche y la ejecutiva de Víctor Hugo Angio. El álbum recorre una veta que muy bien supo trabajar la banda en sus discos anteriores, el rock progresivo con una fuerte impronta urbana, tanto en el plano musical como en la lírica. A fines de diciembre fue la edición y por el sello Viajero Inmóvil, la misma será simultánea en Argentina y varios países, tanto europeos como americanos y Japón. Tal como había sucedido en 2005 con la reedición en CD del primer disco de Canturbe “El vuelo de los olvidados”, donde participó, como invitado, Charly García. La banda siempre fue recordada por sus cinco álbumes editados entre 1980 y 1991. En esta oportunidad también cuenta con invitados de lujo como la cantante Liliana Herrero y Guillermo Cides, en stick, entre otros.
