All of these bands have helped us in one way or another at some time. Without them, we would probably not be doing this. With that said, they are among our biggest influences...sappy, I know. Hopefully we will keep adding to the list. If we left you out, please let us know!
We've been compared to Faded Grey, Stretch Armstrong, Strike Anywhere, Where Eagles Dare, Snapcase, Fury 66, Comeback Kid, A.F.I., Rage Against the Machine, A Wilhelm Scream, With Honor, Pennywise, Bigwig, Shutdown, Crime In Stereo, Rise Against, Strung Out, The Warriors, and Fake Your Death (hah!), but we sound most like the songs that are playing on this profile as you read this.

First and foremost, a big thanks goes out to G&B Music, and Eternal Hope Records for releasing our debut full-length album for FREE online @ the following link:
Please help spread the word of the album by (re)posting and/or telling your friends!
Send us a message, reply to our blog, or just leave us a comment to let us know that you've downloaded the album. Since we have no other way of keeping track of how many times "Closure" has been downloaded, we're relying on all of you good people to tell us who's heard the album so far!
As always, feel free to let us know what you think.

"The group [Captives] draws comparisons to STRETCH ARMSTRONG, FADED GREY, and RISE AGAINST, amongst others. You can grab the release (and I highly recommend you do that, durrrr....) at captives.jeahhh.com."

"Think of Pennywise and Strike Anywhere getting in a whole mess of PCP and speed. This band [Captives] is fuckin' fast and furious and yet somewhat melodic and catchy."
oh cool. i actually found the band and the song on a little site bandcamp. pretty good song. folk music's the heart and soul of music itself, at least that's what i think.
dude that sounds awesome! i've got your back if you decide to do that. i'd love to hear an acoustic studio version of trapped. maybe throw in some songs from closure too? that's not a bad idea that you've got though.
aw man. oh well i can always wait for more. i hope there will be more. yea i do think you're a lyrical genius. i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one that knows it.
