Sophie (lead vocals, guitarist, 13 years old), Izzy (drummer, 13 years old) and Jena (Bass, 15 years old) are Care Bears On Fire. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, the young band have become favorites on the New York City club scene, winning over jaded hipsters of all ages with their authentic punk spirit and songs that capture the experience of being a kid with attitude and humor. The trio’s debut single “Everybody Else” delivers their message with a blast of ferocious energy. The 8th Graders have already been featured in Spin Magazine, which enthused: "This trio are old-school classicists dressed up in Chuck Taylors." The band's guitarist Sophie was also featured in Converse's acclaimed "Three Chords" commercial, playing an acoustic version of "Everybody Else," featured on their forthcoming album. Care Bears on Fire are punk meets garage, straight out of a Brooklyn basement. As the song chorus goes: "Nanananananana, I don't want to be like everybody else!"

LOVE the new video! I am ready to buy it! When will it be on iTunes?
Showed my schizophrenic cousin the Everybody Else videos today and he LOVE, LOVE, LOVED THAT SONG! The paint version was on for about a second and he was like, "THAT'S COOL!" I showed him videos by Joan Jett, The Donnas, and Amanda Shaw but all he really wanted to see was the Everybody Else videos! This guy only listens to Classical music but we ordered him "Get Over It" cuz he liked the songs so much! You girls made my day by him liking you! THANK YOU!
I love you guys so much! The new video is like, godly! It's so weird liking a band with members younger than me, you should feel special! Just remember girls, don't sellout. Don't get swallowed up by the big T.V. corporations, they can provide great opportunities, but most of the time, you only wind up as nobodies a few years down the line, instead of the superstars you girls deserve to be. Keep working hard, and follow your dreams!
Sophie, I don't want to dissuade you from dressing up as Garth but how about dressing up as Lips from Anvil? Although what he uses as A slide might be A little too risque for trick or treat! Sorry, just drove 800 miles on 3 hrs. sleep. Got to hear Manitoba interview Iggy Pop though so that was WAY COOL! Happy Halloween!
