SUPERMICE is a band that Carlitos started with his friends, Jason Ford and Dan Diaz, in 2006. The idea was to have a band that defied specific genre pigeonholing and concentrated on great songwriting and performance. Why the name SUPERMICE? "I wanted a band name that was super easy to remember, invoked super possibilities, yet created a picture of something vulnerable (almost dillusional!) at the same time. Also I figured it was nearly impossible to get rid of a bunch of SUPERMICE, even if you hated them!"---Carlos. Well, the first few shows sounded & felt SO much better than we had expected, and we were very excited to start booking and playing out more...but, lo and behold, Dan and K Wall (the bass player) were unable to continue with the project, and the group fell into a bit of a hiatus. But, surprise(!), those pesky SUPERMICE are back again! We've reformed with Kevin Freebie on bass and Skyyyy Laaad on piano. This new strain of SUPERMICE is playing an experimental show on FEB 8TH 9pm (YES, THAT'S IN 2009!) At Mueller College 4607 Park Blvd, S.D. CA 92116 and we NEED your data input!
