Actor and Soprano Carmen Amoros Goldberg has appeared on various network television shows. Her film credits include NBC Universal's "Law and Order", "Law and Order SVU", "Law and Order CI", HBOs "The Sopranos" and multiple feature films, such as Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center" [a.k.a. September] with Nicholas Cage, "School of Scoundrels" with Billy Bob Thornton, "Pride and Glory" with Colin Farrell, "The Enchanted" with Susan Sarandon and "We Own the Night" with Joaquin Phoenix, "Gracie" and most recently "The Bourne Ultimatum".
Carmen a naturally gifted Soprano with a wide vocal range was a solo performer with the Grammy Award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers with whom she did multiple appearances at Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall and many large venues throughout the country and internationally. She recorded on approximately 10 of the Choir's music albums over a span of 10 years.
After an extended hiatus, Carmen has returned to singing.
Carmen is focusing her sites on her acting and is taking acting classes, while she works on television and feature film sets. At the moment she is having fun with it and she does not know where this will all lead if anywhere, but she has faith that she will be wherever she is needed. On her free time she plans to return to her love of oil painting portraits and sculpting, photography, composing songs and her guitar music. However, she plans to continue to use her voice to honor God and to comfort those who need to feel encouraged.
Carmen also manages the singing career of Maria Teresa Maldonado a LatinAmerican Contemporary Christian Gospel Singer.
Carmen can be found performing at Armondos Italian Restaurant and Sidewalk Cafe in Jackson Heights, New York on Wednesdays.
