It was only a short time we knew each other, but you stood out from the first time we met. Performing and recording with you was almost as much of an honor as hanging out with you in your home and meeting your wonderful family. I will keep your memory alive and well here in New York, and next time I get up to Maine I'll tip a glass your way as we dig into a couple lobsters... Blessings to you and yours! -Sean Harkness
Words cannot express the sadness I feel by visiting this page after a long absence. I give my condolences to family and friends...your songs will always bring back memories of bright days.

My mentor, my sempai who brought me to my inner songwriter has left the building after a way too long battle with cancer. Casey fought the good fight as only a New York Tokyo survivor could. He will be missed by all of us who knew him, either personally or through his music.
As a tribute to Casey, I've reposted a blog from July of 2007 just after he came home from a major cancer operation.
I'm sure he's making Musician's Heaven a lot more interesting than it already is.
I miss you, my friend. I am so very grateful for your presence in my life, and for the musical and personal encouragement you were in your time with us Here. You helped me with the BEST voiceover demo ever, and my heart is so full of joy, although I will miss you something awful. Wine, pizza and life story exchanges....priceless.
