Influences
Early influences were Led Zepplin, Yes, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Free and the Doors.
Current influences are Thom Yorke, Tool, NIN, Jack White, and James Brown.
Cast of a Thousand was orginally formed in 1971 and eventually disbanded in 1975. In 2005, they got back together to do a reunion show with other musicians from Thousands Oaks who had played in the 60's and 70's.
After reforming they decided to continue to work and write new material. They are currently in the studio working on a CD of material from the 70's with sixth member Frank (Buster) Akery.
