Some of my interests are computer programming, building computer systems, playing the keyboard and attending Highland Games. Love to research my family roots and clan when I have the time. My number one enjoyment in life are my wife and kids.
Computers interest me alot. Here are some skills I have learned about computers: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Java, Visual Basic, C++, XML, ASP, Focus, Access, Excel and SQL. Experienced with installation and administration of web based scripts through SSH or FTP. Expertise in the installation and administration of Linux and Windows based operating systems. Fully knowledgeable in all PC hardware related components, troubleshooting, networking, routers and customized computer systems. Working knowledge of popular graphically and sound editing software.
Music
A wide range of musical tastes! Celtic music is my favorite - from the heart pounding Pipes & Drums of the Highlands of Scotland, to the inspirational Gaelic vocals from the green hills of Ireland.
Movies
Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Harry Potter, Braveheart, Kingdom of Heaven. Anything Disney!
Television
Don't watch that much of it - spend most of my time watching movies and on the net working on CelticRadio.net
Books
During my very limited spare time I read magazines such as Discovery, Popular Science and computer software/hardware help guides.
Heroes
Not sure if I have a hero. I have admired many people in my life - from movie stars, to real life people, to politicians. I always seem to come back to my Dad as a role model - although he passed away when I was 27.

Paul C. MacArthur is the founder and developer of CelticRadio.net and Highlander Radio. An avid musician, computer technician, father and husband – he set out in the Year of our Lord, Two Thousand, exploring and discovering the culture of his ancestors through Highland Games and Celtic music festivals. Thus was born the idea of Highlander Radio. In 2003 he received a programming certificate from Worcester Poly Technical Institute specializing in web technologies involving dynamic websites and databases. Harnessing his new found skills in scripting and databases, his redesign of CelticRadio.net in 2004 propelled Highlander Radio to win the 2005 Best of Live365 Award for World Music Station. If you are a musician that plays Celtic music then please visit our musician page to learn how to be heard on Highlander Radio!

At the break of day he rides this path, and startles me from sleep... the LadyHawk that watches from my perch outside his keep He rides to her! which pleaseth him, to steal her heart away... and knows me not; nor that my love grows stronger every day
He once called ME his only love, but now it seems he's lost... in solitude and longing...and 'tis I who pay the cost! I am but maiden, flesh and bone, whom fate has dealt a blow An evil spell was cast on me! That he may never know... that he alone was my true love.I did not break my vow!
But I cannot convey the truth, for speech evades me now A Warlock claimed me his to hold...and I refused his touch I would not then renounce my love...for I loved him so much So now I wear this feathered veil, my true loves knows me not And though I see him every morn, my image he's forgot
My soul for'er captured here, within this silken cape of plummery and graceful wings, but never to escape Goodbye my love! My heart! My soul! you've gone beyond my glance And I in sorrow dare not go much farther than this branch
There is a tether which holds me here...one no man can see The Warlock placed it 'round my heart, to keep my love from Thee Doomed forever, that I am, to watch you steal away... across the Moors to another...at every break of day

Lia Fáil is our latest album. Our debut album “Shadows & Stone was described as - “vivid music, enabling mythologies to become lucid. One can almost imagine Merlins warrior maiden Brigantia entering the fray, fighting off those who would canonise her as St Brigid to muddy her true Celtic goddess roots" - Kindred Spirit Magazine Dec 2008 (Kindred Spirit is the UK’s leading mind body and spirit magazine)" www.keltoria.com
