SEERSUCKER	Jan 15 2009 2:36 AM Hats off to ya for being our friend! We only look good in seersucker suites hence the name, but our Tuba and Mandolin sure sound good! I use to live in Orlando and played witha bunch of old pickers in a Big Lots parking lot, talk about discount lessons. Those guys taught me half of what I know. We will have some new songs posted soon so keep an ear out!

Chuck Levy	Nov 30 2008 4:54 PM Come study 5-string banjo or fiddle at the Suwannee Banjo Camp with some of today's best players and teachers. Our program features hands-on classes, demonstrations, and a big faculty concert, and still leaves lots of time for jamming with your fellow banjo enthusiasts. The dates are March 20-2, 2009, and the place is the same as it has been the last few years: beautiful O'Leno State Park in High Springs, Florida. SBC was originally devoted exclusively to "old-time" banjo (that is, clawhammer and old-time fingerpicking), but we added bluegrass banjo in 2007 and since then we have been expanding our bluegrass program. This year we anticipate that fully one-third of our teachers and students will be bluegrass pickers. Our old-time banjo staff features Laura Boosinger, Paul Brown, Bob Carlin, Adam Hurt, Mark Johnson, Brad Leftwich, Chuck Levy, and Ken Perlman. Our bluegrass banjo staff consists of Scott Anderson, Janet Davis, Bill Evans, and Bill Keith We are at work constructing a fiddle program this year featuring Paul Brown, Brad Leftwich, Adam Hurt, and Chuck Levy as instructors. We are also planning to repeat our African roots program featuring Sana Ndiaye, Greg Adams and Paul Sedgewick. This is an amazing opportunity to learn to play the akonting/ekonting.
