About CEREBRAL VORTEX {215:TFK} IS TEXAS BOUND.YEEHAW!!
Cerebral Vortex aka Shamon Cassette. Republic of Texas native, gypsy, pirate, party starter and citizen of the world embarked upon his musical journey early while enrolled as a hiphop thirsting student at a japanese highschool in the Kanagawa prefecture of Japan. Trading verbal jabs with prowess and entertaining the masses with the likes of the worlds greatest underground emcees and budding stars eventually carrying his quest to the playing fields of europe relocating to Bavaria and studying multiple forms of obscure hiphop and electronic based music while entertaining under the watchful eye of Koln based mega crew "FTC" eventually co-forming the hiphop group known today as Vertual Vertigo with Ezekiel38. After returning to the U.S. and experiencing the feeling of creative stagnation.Cerebral Vortex began allotting a bulk of his time to listening and studying earlier forms of dance,bootybass,hiphop,club and electro music. combining his lyricism,energy and whit for pop culture he began expirimenting with a multitude of approaches to fusing hiphop/dance and electro all while quietly co-forming the ghetto-tech duo "215:The Freshest Kidz" in 2004. After a year of round robin shows, events and festivals in Austin Texas and a festoon of studio recordings Cerebral Vortex and 215 crewmate Buddy Leezle moved to San Francisco to play a hand in the newly evolving bay area hyphy scene after countless collaborations and performances with the greatest acts of the genre Cerebral Vortex branched out and began working exclusively with producers based out of europe taking claim for crooning his very european style of electronic music.
Cerebral Vortex continues to travel the globe with Vertual Vertigo and 215:The Freshest Kidz as well as individualy touring,recording and releasing music under multiple record labels captivating crowds from festivals such as "Pop Montreal","Splash"(de) and "South by Southwest" in Austin to performing live at events for Vice, Puma, Blender, Redbull, Scion,Juice and Juxtapose magazine to name a few. stay intune as we approach 3009 the year and beyond of infecting the masses with an "EASE" called "LOVE"
