ABOUT CESAR MILLAN

Cesar Millan is a world-renowned dog behavior specialist, known for his uncanny ability to walk large packs of dogs at a time. Not only that, but from poodles to pit bulls, these now well-behaved canines have each been rehabilitated, rescued from a wide range of extreme behavior issues - anything from insecurity to severe 'red zone' aggression!

Born and raised in Mexico, his blessed gift, a primal communion with nature, had always come naturally to him, but his unique connection to canines became most noticeable around the age of 13. Everywhere Cesar went, there always seemed to be a swirl of dogs surrounding him. The locals gave him a nickname, "El Perrero" - Spanish for "The Dogman".

Cesar embraced this gift whole-heartedly, and he came to America to pursue his dream of becoming the greatest dog trainer in the world. He soon realized, though, that he was searching for something rather more profound than teaching dogs basic commands.

Daddy's Senior Moments. When we interviewed Cesar about Daddy's senior years, his deep emotional bond with this 14 year-old pit bull was apparent. He shared thoughts on Daddy's current physical health, Junior's impact on his mental health, details on his very special way to roll in the grass, and how he himself copes with Daddy's aging.

Hi Cesar,
I have a quick question. My dog just turned one yrs old and he has twice now peed in the house !! He has never done this before so im kinda shocked. He is always vocal about going outside when he needs to pee!! I dont know if he is doing this out of spite or just cant hold all of a sudden ? He is very attached to my oldest son and I wonder if he does it out of spite as he hasnt spent much time with him lately as he works alot . If you have any ideas, suggestions I would be very appreciative of your help !!

Thanxx Cesar =)

Dear Cesar, I know you're into challenges and I most definitely have one for you! I work at a veterinary hospital, and over a year ago a lady dropped off her recently deceased husbands rottweiler for boarding and during the process he bit into her arm and she never came back for him. He is total red line aggression, no doubt about it. The major problem we have is that he has been abandoned at our hospital for quite some time and we just dont have the heart to euth him. We would love for him to be social and get along with people and other animals we just cant afford to spend anything on him, his current bill with us is roughly six thousand dollars. His name is Rock. Any information would be good information.

Thank you so much Cesar.

Hi Cesar!!

Thanks for all the good TV programs that I and my wife (future veterinarian) are watching. It is as she says my wife, - "as much I will benefit from cesar program since I'm done veterinarian".
So many thanks for everything you have learned that people respond to our dogs.

Love from Sweden
Matty

Hi cesar! =)
thank you so much for what you do with the dogs, you truly have a gift.

my dog rickie is a 8 year old corgie i live with my parents and a room mate that he seems to dispise!! whever he walks into the house "when we are all home" he barks and guards us. when I talk to our roommate, he starts barking. he barks at anything and everything. I can't take him to the park because he wants to control all the dogs, he's aggressive with them. he loves the dog beach, it's the only place i place i can take him. he has this sound collar on now that i HATE. it slows him down with his barking but, it seems like he tryies to ignore the sound collar too. it seems like we have tried everything to get him to stop. I don't know what to do. He's my heart. I was wondering if you had any suggestions or help?

HELP! thank you,
lisa and rickie (my dogie)

Wanted to wish you a Happy 4th of July weekend.....and throw out a question to you: When there is major upheaval at home (divorce, death of loved one, etc.) how does one still maintain a calmness and nonanxious stance as the "packleader?" Won't the dog pick up on one's anxiety anyway??? Please help me with this; I would appreciate it so much!
