It's just me and whatever I have laying around, which most of the time aren't other people, just instruments or things that can replicate instrument sounds. The acoustic guitar is usually there, even if modified. I wish I used my harmonica more. Well, I play it all the time but it actually getting used in songs is rare. Other possible instruments: ukulele, melodica, kazoo, slide whistle, flutophone, samba whistle, jaw harp, spoons, lampshades, pitch pipe (modify the audio a little bit, pop it into FruityLoops piano roll mode and its like a flute or clarinet or something), mysterious blue tube that got turned into a whistle, wide elastic exercise bands, rubber bands on an oddly shaped cardboard contraption, who knows what else I could have sitting around that could be an instrument at any moment... I'm tried to turn a plastic toy hockey stick into a mountain bow, I took one of the tuner knobs off an old electric guitar and then realized I was gonna need a drill since a screwdriver and knife weren't going to get the job done and decided it'd be too much work. Also I tried to use the rest of the head and neck of that old electric guitar to make a guit-banjo out of it and a cookie tin but it didn't really turn out good, since despite being screwed into the peeled out tin, the neck needs more stabilizing inside the tin and I'm not sure what I'd need to do that.
Influences
Everything I've ever heard influences me. I try to get my ears on everything: mainstream, underground, classics, obscure classics that probably aren't obscure or classic, pop, rock, rap, electronica, country, folk, blues it don't matter because I love it all. Well, depending on if whats being presented to me is aesthetically pleasing to my ears. The how and why and who, I don't care about, just as long as certain aspects of the sound don't make it impossible to listen to. And if there is a certain aspect that makes it so I don't want to hear it, I don't try to copy that, so thats how that influences me. Not that I put that much thought into what might be subliminally causing me to make the choices I make when I'm writing or recording or singing or whatever.

Sounds Like
Me making noise with stuff? I don't know, you tell me. Because to me, it sounds like something I made and I have an inability to compare what I've made to other pre-existing things. For all I know, it could be a tribute to something I was listening to at the time and never picked it up, like on Ascension Into Off White Everything, when I apparently created something that sounded like Nine inch Nails and Apoptygma Berzerk because those were the two main things I was listening to around the time but the connection wasn't made until people started pointing things out to me.
So, just because I don't hear what it sounds like doesn't mean it doesn't sound like something. What does it sound like to YOU?
How about this: The Residents, Jandek, Castanets, Beck, Scratch Acid, David Allan Coe and Xiu Xiu all meet your mom on the toilet and made her forget to flush, now she's all sadcore, huddled up on the cold unforgiving tile in the fetal position crying. On crack.
My albums (free to download or listen to (all 13 of them (seriously))) My Twitter
I make some sort of post rock, punk, industrial, country, folk, blues, hip-hop, rockabilly noise pop that probably isn't any of those labels and might be all of those labels at the same time, no ones really sure, least of all me. Whatever it is, its made with a punk as fuck DIY ethic and you can't stop this dirty freight train so get on board now before it crushes you.
Also: to prevent any possible crushing...

And thank you for looking into my music!
Honestly, it's a real accordion. None of us can play it, hence the not so precise rythm and fairly simple chord progression. We stopped doing it live though, due to hostile hands-on reactions from the audience. One can only assault one's audience so many times and get away with it...
