Challenge Club formed from no less than 3 (or is it 4?) mildly-popular, yet disbanded Baltimore rock bands. The Ostrogoths, Army of Pirates, the Newlyweds and the Sons of Buford have congealed, so to speak into a triumphant 6-piece dive-bomb of rock and roll. With various musical backgrounds to draw from,
Challenge Club marches mightily with a two/three/four-prong guitar attack. Supported often with whistles and bells they rock socks, drop trou and shred the throats of the waiting throngs of their wanting, lusty crowds. Booty-shaking, binge-drinking and busting-ass are the most common side effects of Challenge Club. Rest assured, all three will strike at once.

I remember distinctly a review of Top Gun when it came out in 1986. It was described as "Two Hours of Pure Pow!" Well that movie sucked. But the Challenge Club reunion last night was epic on every level. Thanks guys! It was brilliant.
I wanted to ensure the comment train continued to chug along- let it be known that challenge club, though currently in a...shall-we-say amoebic (?) mode of existence, is silently gathering moss through other continents and soon, due to popular demand, will be translated into swedish, dutch, and whatever that nonsense is they speak over in london. Londish, I guess.
