After the fall of Song Of Zarathustra in early 2003,several
incarnations of what became |||CHARIOTS||| formed. The cast always
featured Travis Bos (Ex-Song Of Zarathustra & Book Of Dead Names)on
vocals,keyboard and effects while Arthur Gandy (Ex-Exercise) maintained
the bass and additional vocals. During late 2003/early 2004,the two
added members Eric Odness on guitar/vocals and Matt Kepler on drums.
The four quickly gained respect locally and on the road playing
with bands such as Plot to Blow up the Eiffel Tower,Call Me
Lightning,Since by Man,Ex Models,King Cobra,Die Monitr Batss,etc... Chariots was also
included in 2004's Troubleman Unlimited roster for the CMJ Music
Conference in New York. In November of 2004,Chariots recorded their
debut CD/LP entitled "Congratulations" with Dave Gardner
(Melvins,Rocket from the Crypt,Hot Snakes,Har Mar Superstar,etc) at the Terrarium in
Minneapolis,MN. The record will be available in stores March 8th,2005.
Future plans involve extensive touring in the
U.S./Europe,etc,more recording and a few videos. One,which will be directed by the
well known Chuck Statler who directed videos for such groups as DEVO,The
Cars,Madness,Moldy Peaches,etc
