Peter Eisenman is not only the incomparable architectural theorist and practitioner -- he's also a football maniac. Still, it was surprising when the NFL chose him to design Phoenix's new stadium. Almost as soon as construction finished it played host to the Superbowl. Snakes Head is a piece of music I wrote about him for the Landmarks documentary series on architects and their buildings.
