MySpace a place for friends

i started writing and recording music about three years ago in the basement of my home in greenwood, indiana. since then, i've grown up quite a bit, and so has my music.

writing is how i sort through my life, how i make sense of things, and how i get my mind straight when i can't seem to handle everything life throws at me at times. it has helped me realize that even though things can get tough, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel if you can make it through.

i have learned more about myself in the past three years through my music than i ever imagined i would. now i appreciate the small things, i look to the future with a sense of optimism, and i'm not in a hurry to grow up anymore.

this past summer i went into the studio to record my full-length album, which i am super excited for. i'm putting college off for now to pursue my music full-time and see what happens.

i'm scared to death of what the future holds for me, but at the same time i am the happiest i have ever been. i can't wait to meet the next year head on and have no regrets when it's over, no matter the outcome.

more than anything, i just want to be able to be honest with my songs, to continue to grow as a person and as a songwriter, and to share my sense of optimism with every person who hears my music.

this is my music, and it means the world to me that you're listening. i hope you can relate, and i hope my music can help you as much as it has helped me.
