:9 Songs, 2003________14 Songs, 2006
They have the heart, they have the talent, and they have the fans to prove it. This 5-piece, melodic punk band from Orange County, California is giving back to the scene from which they received so much. With infectious and memorable stage presence, CHASER is tearing apart every stage they set foot on. With seven years of experience, two full-length albums, national and international tours, and a constantly growing fan base, CHASER has truly taken to heart the meaning of passion and hard work. CHASER’s latest album, Numb America, consists of 14 fast, catchy, and melodic punk tracks that fuse meaningful lyrics and aesthetic melodies, delivered clean, yet passionately. Accompanied by dueling guitar riffs, solos, and three-part harmonizing backup vocals, and all tied together with explosive rhythms that keep the fists pumping in the air. Mike LeDonne, CHASER’s lead singer and front man, wants the world to know that “there is definitely still a scene out there, and it is a band like us, CHASER, who refuses to let it die.” After all, who better to carry on the legacy of those who paved the way for punk rock to exist, than their biggest fans?

CHASER CD Release Party - Hogue Barmichaels - October 7th 2006
"I drove up to Orange County and checked out the CHASER CD Release Party. Talk about a good show....shit, punk rock was at its prime Sat. night.
This was my first time seeing CHASER. I have the CD, which is comparison to the older punk albums like Leche Con Carne by No use For A Name, Deviates, Pennywise...OK you get the picture, the point is you can play the album all the way through.
Now the question is are they equally as good live? Hell ya! I was not in the partying mood that night, so I just chilled in the back and watched the show. They came out singing their 2 song on Numb America (Status). Talk about Punk Rock...at that point the whole place lit up like people just pounded 20 red bulls. My favorite song personally is Numb America, to see it live was great. Can't forget to mention the cover CHASER does of Dust in The Wind by Kansas. Great vocals by the lead vocalist Mike, seems to be a crowd favorite. Everyone was there to have a good time and not to have any problems........mission acomplished."
Skratch Magazine:
Whisky a Go-Go
"I'll tell you, I'm glad I didn't miss this show. When I arrived, CHASER had just hit the stage. A chaotic merging of old-school punk with a new school flavor is what I witnessed when I watched the band rage across the Whisky stage. As I looked around the room, I noticed how so many people were getting into the piercing aggression that is CHASER. Luckily, everybody is going to be able to experience that piercing aggression again, because CHASER have shows lined up that you don't want to miss. So listen up, go to www.chaserpunk.com, where you'll find all the information you'll ever need about them-especially where they're playing next."
Taken from the next paragraph about another band that night-
"Big pop hooks, hot chicks with guitars- how could you go wrong? I mean, they're no CHASER, but what's a guy to do?"
Additional reviews can be found in our new blog.
"One of the best CD's i have ever heard. It is put together really well. The songs are AMAZING and there is never a dull moment through the whole album. Every song hits you harder than the last one, i cant even pick a favorite song because they are all so good!!! The lead guitar parts are insane, and everything flows perfectly. The lyrics are intense, and you can really relate to them, which is cool. Then there is "Dust In The Wind," one of the best covers of a song i have ever heard, it is done so well. The CD is just amazing, from the first song to the last. 10 out of 10, 2 thumbs up. Great job guys."
"From the first note of the intro, the mood of the CD is already set. you
just know CHASER is back but this time you know its darker and its more
developed. CHASER is among the new generation of skatepunk bands, playing it South Bay style. However, they have their own trademark sound without
sacrificing the speedy agressiveness of the record. I'd say my favorite track
easily has to be California Redemption. It's fast, catchy, and agressive.
However, other highlights include Business Plan and Status. Overall, CHASER
found a way to make a great CD without exactly bringing anything new to the table, and "selling out," but by taking a played out sound and giving it their own trademark."
"I've been sitting here for the past few months, after hearing the European
release of "Numb America," wondering how the hell you could make this awesome CD any better, I thought it was amazing just as it was (I'm sure you all know what's coming next). But man, when I popped in the new U.S. version tonight on my way home from Splits Bar and actually got to hear the whole thing, at some point between Huntington Beach and Long
Beach I felt like I had been sucker punched. No clue what happend, total
suprise at what I was hearing, a masterpiece being made Even More
Amazing..... the entire thing has my jaw dropped, you've reaallly outdone
yourselves this time... I can now understand why you'd be so proud of this
album.. it all makes sense to me now... just an amazing piece of art...a masterpiece!"
