On Sunday March 23, 2008 William “Chase” Tatum Passed Away Leaving Many Family Members, Friends, And Fans Behind
Atlanta, GA – March 26, 2008 - William Chase Tatum (November 3, 1973 – March 23, 2008) who passed away on Sunday March 23, 2008 will be missed on many levels. Chase, as he was fondly called, was a SAG film actor who lived in Atlanta, GA. He has appeared in various TV Shows such as MTV’s Punked, Outkast videos, and various commercials, as well as competing in World Championship Wrestling organization. More recently, he appeared in the comedy "Who's Your Caddy?" alongside rapper Big Boi of Outkast. As a 19-year-old, Chase Tatum won the Mr. Georgia bodybuilding competition. At 6-foot-3, 265 pounds, he attracted the attention of the Atlanta-based WCW promotion.
In addition to his work as an actor, bodyguard, personal trainer, bodybuilder, and mentor Chase was a man of deep religious faith and loved kids. He just recently spoke of helping various charities to help children in need. “This is an extremely tough time for his family, friends, and fans and on behalf all of the people who loved and cherished Chase, I ask for your support and respect.
I, too, knew and loved Chase. He was a great man with a very big heart,” says Publicist Misty Renai.
