We first met Chasing ORA at Chinnerys in Southend, upon request by my girlfriend who had been invited on myspace, Ollie & I went with her, and we where really impressed with the great sound they produced. They are great guys to work with that should be booked for all the gigs you can get them in for! Mike Bromfield - BBC Essex Introducing
BBC Essex Introducing can't wait for Chasing ORA to be back on the gigging scene! After everything they have been through I think they are making the right decision to carry on playing in Joanna's name. Good luck guys, I can't wait to see you live again. Ollie Winiberg - BBC Essex Introducing
From comparisons to Paramore to being touted as an indie band, Essex based Chasing ORA simply buck convention and refuse to be pigeonholed. Brandishing power packed choruses that strut confidently in mingled with thumping beats that demand you pay close attention, Chasing ORA mix the rough with the smooth with an effortless ease and a confident swagger to insure their potential grabs you by the scruff of the neck with glee. Jodie Woodgate - Room Thirteen
Fabulously female fronted and groovemongous grunge inspired act outta Essex. Chasing ORA exude big bluesy singing and chugging neo Nirvana shaped rockings, veering towards heavy indie rock but always anchored by melodic pop sensibilities. A fine example of bristlingly impassioned Brit Rock Bugbear – Dublin Castle Promoters

In March 2009 we lost our Joanna. Joanna used to front Chasing ORA along with her sister Natalie. Since Joanna past away we have been raising money in her name for the Essex RSPCA which is a cause that she truly believed in. Please click on the following logo to make a donation:

P.s well recovered to the drummer in the last song there whilst losing his bass pedal.
