Chaz DePaolo is a contemporary Blues guitarist that is constantly on tour. Either in the US,Canada or Europe,he can be found playing his special brand of blues. Featured compositions, are the slow traditional Blues of self penned "Women In A Black Dress" to the uptempo shuffle,such as "Baby Im' so Lonely",right thru to driving instrumenatls'. Chaz covers all the bases. His newest CD "Bluestopia"runs the gamut;from the New Orlean's feel of the opening track "Down So Long"(Albert King)to the down and dirty original instrumental "Slideadelica" featuring harp ace Jason Ricci.The CD also touches on a Jazz number. Thats right Jazz!Chaz has done a remake of the Grant Green/Ben Dixon track "Look At That Girl".Throw in the original rockin' rhumba
of "It's Not You It's Me" aided by the piano of David Maxwell followed by the acoustic slide Chaz original "Pearly Gates" with the funky horns' of another Chaz original "You Know my Baby" you get "Bluestopia"!

Jimi Hendrix Birthday Tribute at BB Kings NYC on Nov. 27 2006 where Chaz played with Buddy Miles,Harvey Brooks and Jose Feliciano. Chaz then performed at the 2007 "Mountain Meltdown" in Saranac Lake,NY. Also,on the bill were Ana Popavic,New Riders Of The Purple Sage and Commander Cody.
Chaz also appeared at the 2007 Hendrix Tribute in NYC and was the opening act for "Commander Cody" in a 2008 tour of Hawaii.
