I play a style of music called rock/blues. It is traditional blues played with
a rock feel. The rhythm section has a very traditional feel but my solos are very aggressive. I also fuse elements of jazz into my compositions. You may call what I play "Hard Rockin' Blues Fusion". Many of the songs I write are about my personal experiences and on going battle with depression. An example would be the track called "Flirtin with the Blues". I wrote this in about 5 minutes on the NJ Turnpike; this track can be found on my 2005 95 North Records release called "Flirtin' With The Blues". I am currently working on a new cd called "Bluestopia". This cd contains several original compositions as well interpretations of some of my favorite blues classics.
This will be released in the fall of 2008.I perform about 250 dates a year between the US,Canada,and Europe. While in Europe I have performed with the original rhythm section of the ledgendary blues band The Groundhogs. This includes Pete cruickshank on bass and Ken Pustelnik on drums. In 2005 we recorded a track featured on the 95 North Records release called"Fins',Chrome,And The Open Road". The track title is "Cadillac Baby". Other artists on the release are Maria Muldaur,Charlie Musclewhite,Kim Wilson,Rory block, and Rosie Flores to name a few.

Most notable current Performances:
Jimi Hendrix Birthday Tribute at BB Kings NYC on Nov. 27 2006 where Chaz played with Buddy Miles,Harvey Brooks and Jose Feliciano. Chaz then performed at the 2007 "Mountain Meltdown" in Saranac Lake,NY. Also,on the bill were Ana Popavic,New Riders Of The Purple Sage and Commander Cody.
Chaz once appeared at the 2007 Hendrix Tribute in NYC and was the opening act for "Commander Cody" in a 2008 tour of Hawaii.
