Boston native, self-taught guitar player Chris Allen has auditioned for
everything from a Lead/Rhythm Guitar spot in a local production of the 1971,
Andrew Lloyd Webber/ Tim Rice rock opera, JESUS CHRIST SUPER STAR to
2nd Lead Guitar for none other than the Metal God himself, ROB HALFORD for his
solo band "HALFORD" after being approached by HALFORD's management. Chris has also
acquired an endorsement with MONSTER GUITAR PICKS,(www.HotPicksUSA.com) and has been featured in GUITAR WORLD magazine as well as much of HOTPICKS promotional material incl TV & Internet. In the mid 80's Chris studied Guitar briefly under Berklee School of Music instructor, Joe Stump (www.JOESTUMP.com) and would go on to study the styles of such players as George Lynch, Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc., through tablature books, Guitar magazines, videos and hours of practice. Chris
regularly performs live, all around New England with his 3 pc. InstruMENTAL
Hard Rock band, having shared the stage with some of New Englands bigger, well known
acts. In 2002 Chris formed the band MISSION:CONTROL, a 4 pc. all original, Hard Rock
assault squad, which would change members over the next 6 years, playing virtually
EVERY stage in the Boston area and beyond including the legendary CBGB's.
Chris hopes his efforts, dedication, focus and perseverance will achieve notoriety among
his peers and subsequent fans. With future goals of touring, pro recording, endorsements
and major record deals, theres no telling what this determined, aspiring musician
bring in the way of PURE ROCK AGGRESSION...
