After sharing the stage with such National Blues artists as Blues Traveler, Walter Trout, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Lil'Ed and the Blues Imperials, along with many others. Mark and Chris Avey are sharing the stage together with Bryan West on the drums as the Avey Brothers Band. Chris Avey's thick-toned vocal style, was learned while he spent time as lead guitarist for international blues star Big Pete Pearson in Phoenix Az. Chris, has been playing for 15 years and now fronts the band with his older brother Mark on bass. A veteran sideman in his own right Mark Avey has been playing for 10 years and was a finalist in the 2005 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Bryan West (drums) has performed at the Metro and the House of Blues in Chicago and CBGB’s in New York. He has also recorded at Prince’s Paisley Park Studio in Minneapolis. The current line-up with the addition of Detroit Larry Davidson (joining the band in April of 09) on Harmonica, has recently won the 2008 and 2009 Iowa Blues Challenge and are currently touring the Midwestern part of the country creating their own following of loyal fans and adding to their ever growing list of accomplishments. The Avey Brothers debut cd Devil in my Bed is now available on CMB Records and receiving airplay on blues stations through out the Midwest Look for there new cd coming summer of 2009

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.

1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
