  • Bio

dawn of eternity is a gothic/black metal band that hails from australia

the band birth into this world begun back in 2002
from chris's departure from previous band
and on leaving the heavy metal genre
to form somthing towards his style of music
 more darker harder and faster
with the tounge cheek to the sinster grim more
doom and gloom
that makes dawn of eternity what they are today.

it started as a side project than merged into a full-time band

it would be at least 3 years before chris would have anyone in the band

and finding member did prove to be hard
and finding members that didnt want to screw with the sound that made dawn of eternity what they are.

they finally found a drummer worthy
goes by the name of angel bathory

 with these to forces joined
the darkness is even greater than it ever was.

the band is close near the end of there 2nd studio album called (enchanted shadows)

angel bathory - drums for those dont no much about the genre....... Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. It often uses fast tempos, shrieked vocals, highly distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, blast beat drumming, raw recording, and unconventional song structure. During the 1980s, a few thrash metal bands formed a prototype for black metal. This so-called "first wave" included bands such as Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost and Sarcófago.[1] A "second wave" arose in the early 1990s, spearheaded by Norwegian bands such as Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Immortal and Emperor. This scene developed the black metal style into a distinct genre. Black metal has been met with hostility from mainstream culture, mainly due to the misanthropic and anti-Christian standpoint of many artists. Moreover, a few of the genre's pioneers have been linked with church burnings, murder or National Socialism. For these, and other reasons, black metal is often seen as an underground form of music..
