Born 1962 and residing in Gothenburg, Sweden, Christian Munthe is a Swedish experimental musician and free improviser concentrating on the sonic possibilities offered by an acoustic guitar. Since the 1980’s he has performed/recorded solo as well as with Günter Christmann, Anders Dahl, Patrick Farmer, Mats Gustafsson, Mats Gustafsson, Thomas Lehn, Paul Lovens, Phil Minton, , Christine Sehnaoui, Raymond Strid, Roger Turner, , Philipp Wachsmann, Mariam Wallentin, Martin Öhman, Ida Lundén, Lee Noyes, Bruno Duplant, a.o. A few recordings have been released over the years (see the discography further down).
