Influences
Every band member has a different taste in music, so they all contribute with their view on what should be done for each song and it ends up being a mix of a ton of different styles…so the best description is that ChristShade are influenced by music, feelings and states of mind.
Sounds Like
The band mixes a lot of different styles...almost each song riff is a different style from the one before...
The band started with 3 members, Miranda and Tiago in the guitars and Xinês in the Drumsall of them had the same objective in mind, to make music which hasn't been done before, something original. Several Bassists and singers tried out for the band, being Nuno invited to stay, who gladly accepted the invitation and fitted in perfectly. He also had a different taste in music so he added it to the mix of music the band was already making. As a frontman, Jonnïee was invited. He also had a different taste in music and had played keyboards in a Black/Death Metal Band so he had some experience and also added it to the music in creationJonnïee's singing was very experimental with harsh vocals and gothic-like clean vocals. Last but not least, and after several female vocals, came Raquel with her lovely voicethe humanizing vocals that conflicted with Jonnïees grunt vocals but gave emphasis to his clean vocals.
As a full band ChristShade began in 4/May/2005. The first show was exactly a month after, it was a band competition and they left as winners (with great credits for technical performance and for originality as well as lyrics theme and composition). The band has played some more shows, and the crowd has been very receptive to the sound.
After some conversations tiago and jonniee left Christshade. Daniel is the new guitar player. Xniff (Nuno) left the band as well , and Carlos is the new Bass guitar player...
After Christshade recorded their fist album at Graphonola Records, (Start May 2006, finnish June 2006), Carlos left Christshade and Jakas joined the band to play bass guitar...

Boas, o videoclip do primeiro single do nosso segundo álbum, "fragmental" - que sairá no Verão deste ano – já está online. O áudio ainda não está masterizado porque esse processo terá lugar na Suécia daqui a um mês pela mão de Björn Englemann (Rammstein, Within Temptation, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Sonata Arctica, The Hives, etc...).
