Chromatic Dark comes from Oulu, Northern Finland. Their music is a versatile mixture of aggressiveness and melody. The band was founded in 2003. After that there has been several line-up changes. Chromatic Dark played their first gig in Oulu in spring 2007.
Chromatic Dark's first public release was the demo "Obsidious", and it was released in spring 2006. Demo was self-recorded by the band at the training place.
The second four song demo/promo "Hateballads 2008" was recorded during December 2007
and January 2008. Hateballads 2008 gained lots of nice feedback and a couple of demo
of the month grades from media. Year 2008 the band played six live shows and wrote new
material. Four of the new songs are planned to get recorded during spring 2009.
Four of the new songs were recorded during spring 2009 by Janne and Mikko at couple of rehearsal rooms. Heikki Niemelä mixed and mastered the material and the songs are now available for downloading from the net. There will be a CD form release as well when the intro song and cover art is completed. Band has started to search for new live shows as well.
Moroo! Minulle kuuluu hyvää, vaikutan nykyään Kuopion seudulla bändeissä Primal Hatred ja Maggotworks. Rumpuja soitan kummassakin. Maggotworksin kanssa ollaan säveltämässä uutta matskua ja kasaamassa settilistaa, jotta voidaan nauhoittaa demoa ja soittaa keikkaa. Primalin kanssa taas treenataan ja keikataan.
Uus demo kuulostaa tosi hyvältä saundillisesti. Meno progea myös, mikä ei ole kyllä väärin koskaan. Mitä ite kaipaan, olis nopeampia tempoja. :) Jätkät kehittyy ihan selkeästi koko ajan kumminkin. World Chaos-kertsi on tosi kova. CHAOS-huudot tosi hyvin sovitettu mukaan.
Odottelen kyllä taas mahdollisuutta, että pääsen teitä livenä kattomaan. Kovaa matskua.
