WHO IS JACK E. STRIFY?
Who am I - That's what a lot of people ask me.
"Is this really you or are you just playing something?".
I'm always wondering why people do ask these questions.
Of course I am a little shizophrenic in some ways but who's not?
If I am what people call an artifical character than I don't have to fake anything. That's just the way I am.
But when I grow old and people start to call me 'the self as art in its totality' I'll take it as a compliment.
What else would you expect if I told you I admire people like David Bowie, Grace Jones, Madonna or Adam Ant as well as Jack Skellington and Willy Wonka?
I just love to be sophisticated, I am a modern dandy.
There's a Dorian Gray in all of us
When I was very young I learnt that I love to sing. I woke up every morning and I felt the need to sing. If that happens every day, every hour, your whole life... than you are probably born to do that. I sang along to every melody that I found beautiful and I developed a big love for the 80s.
There was so much insanity, art, creativity, fashion and music I could relate to.
I think pop music as we know it was born in the 80s.
I just want to sing my songs, wear my fashion, be sophisticated and tell the world to be insane. If you don't like it... style is war.

This is the only official account I own and the only way to contact me. But i receive so many mails each day so I am not able to answer every single one. So I decided to make an FAQ (look below).
Who I'd like to meet:
Ich werde an dieser Stelle die meist gestellten Fragen beantworten. Ich will so viele Mails wie möglich beantworten, einige Fragen werden ziemlich häufig gestellt. Hiermit kürze ich das alles ab und ihr habt schon ein paar Antworten. Wenn diese Fragen denoch per Mail kommen, werde ich sie einfach ignorieren. Nicht böse nehmen, aber so kann ich mehr Mails beantworten :>
Wie geht es dir? bzw. Wie war dein Tag/Wie sieht dein Alltag aus?/Was machst du gerade? Das kommt natürlich immer ganz auf den Tag und die Situation an. Meistens geht's mir super und wenn dem einmal nicht der Fall sein wollte, werde ich es sicher nicht sagen :> Ansonsten sind es immer wieder Meetings, Proben, Interviews etc die unseren Alltag bestimmen. Wenn ich auf die Mail antworte, mache ich das gerade: Die Mail lesen und antworten.
Wann geht ihr auf Tour?/Wo kann man euch treffen? Offizielle Termien werden immer auf unserer offiziellen Homepage, dem myspace oder unserem street team auf myspace angekündigt. Die Tour wird im Frühjahr 2008 statt finden, aber wir haben noch keine genauen Tourdaten.
Bist du der echte Strify? Ya, der bin ich und dies ist auch der einzige Account im Internet den ich habe. Wenn du es nicht ganz glauben willst, gehe einfach auf die Bandspaceseite und klicke den Strify dort an.

People are makin' me laugh so much right now. Copying me and hating me at the same time! If I'm hated so much, you'd think they wouldn't waste their time copying me and come up with their own ideas and words instead of infringing mine... some originality would be nice! I'm jamming out to Michael Jackson's "Blood on the Dance Floor" album if it's any clue of the edge I'm feeling lately. Funky little attitude about people and their rumors, you see...
It's quite alright though, I've got all the truth in the world that I need ;) I haven't said much to you lately coz I've been a little busy with my birthday passing and projects and such, but you know you're always in my heart. I've got quite the nice surprise for you when you return back here, actually. I'm always mindful of something to make you smile coz I love ya!

Anyways, I don't need to make a spectacle of myself, 'cause you know the love I hold in my heart is only for you and you only. Who cares what anyone else thinks? I'd spell my love out to you in the purest of angels tears, across the night sky, as a token of my true feelings if I had enough grace to do it adequately.
