Cipher is a french trip-hop band, from Lille, with an electro and rock sound leaded by pop and atmospheric tunes.
The music of Cipher is a universe loan of mysticism and metaphysics where cohabit in harmony, the shade and the light, the mlancholie and the hope, the gravity changed in weightlessness by a subtle alchemy. But Cipher wants to be optimistic, in spite of the confusion of the senses and of the feelings which play with us, our eyes remain turned towards the light. Here is perhaps the key of all our obstacles , a physical detachment.
Cipher' sound is a melting of contrasted elements (the cold sounds of keyboards and rock-metal guitars / the warm and sweet voice ; the guitars rhythm and the electronic loops / the evolving, modulated and light singing) giving birth to an atmospheric and introspective music.

Cipher est un groupe de trip-hop, de la metropole Lilloise, aux sonorites electro et rock guides par des melodies pop et atmo. La musique de Cipher est un univers emprunt de mysticisme et metaphysique ou cohabitent en harmonie, l'ombre et la lumiere, la melancholie et l'espoir, la gravite trasmuee en apesanteur par une subtile alchimie... Mais Cipher se veut optimiste, malgre la confusion des sens et des sentiments qui jouent avec nous, nos yeux restent tournes vers la lumiere. Ici se trouve peut-etre la cle de toutes nos entraves, un detachement physique.
