A banda foi formada em agosto de 2004 por Necrophagus e Ciabaatator, quando o segundo mostrou ao primeiro algumas "melodias" prontas na guitarra, às quais obviamente faltava que se encaixassem os ritmos. Daí foi só marcar o primeiro ensaio. Nós já tínhamos experiência tocando juntos, inclusive na época ambos tocávamos na mesma banda. A intenção era a de fazer um som rápido e agressivo, porém sem limitações de quaisquer estilos.
Desde o início o que imperou foi a absoluta liberdade da dupla de criar o que fosse em seu instrumento, praticamente sem sequer opiniões um do outro. Talvez seja este o aspecto principal a tornar o som como é: no mínimo estranho. Durante a existência da banda algums "músicos" tentaram participar da mesma.
Porém todas as tentativas foram frustradas, quer pela complexidade (diga-se imbecilidade) do som ou por falta de interesse de alguns deles. A segunda razão foi a principal para que desistíssemos da idéia de ter um vocalista, portanto a partir da metade de 2005 decidimos continuar como uma dupla.
Dentro em breve, um selo irá lançar todo material gravado pelo Circus Satanae.

The band was formed in august 2004 by Negrophagos and Ciabaatator, when the second showed the first some guitar "melodies", waiting for the rithms. Then the first rehearsal was set. We had played together, so things got easier. The intention was to play something fast and agressive, with no limitations of any kind. Since the beggining what guided the band was the liberty of each one to create whatever in the instrument, nearly with no opinion from the other. Maybe it was the main reason for the sound to become what it is: at least strange. During this time some "musicians" passed by the Circus, but everything went wrong (its difficult to find crazy dudes really interested in something like this). Then in the second half of 2005 we decided to keep on only the two of us.
