Rouxd - vocals
A guy with one direction straight ahead and don’t step on his Dr. Martens boots or else you might get the whole boot up your ass, and believe us folks he can kick that high and hard. He sings cuz nothing else matters. Roux’d’s vocals have been describe as a cat screaming in heat and a old man begging pleading don’t hit me again. Not your regular rock star, ask him and he will tell you it just doesn’t matter, cuz you die anyways!
Snetan - guitar
Dreaming wet dreams about his guitar heroes and of a time when walking the streets with a six string on the back automatically meant you get to date the hottest girl in school. Dee finds Snetan like an 80’s sissy, since he's treating his sangria coloured Ibanez like a lady.
Dee - bass
Old school to the bone with a sound that leaves no one and nothing untouched. Dee got the blues, the swing, honky tonk and some boogie woogie. With his pink six string bass and billion dollar pedal board he sets off to conquer the world. Hah, yeah right! If you get one word outta of this boy then he likes you, other wise buy him a beer and walk away.
Ric - drums
Tight like a pair of slim fit Levi’s, but too bad the poor little drummer boy can’t afford that kind of pants. Bad to the bone, he wears his old jeans with holes barley hanging on him. Anyway, he’s dubbed as Roux’d’s personal groovy bitch. Ric drives the car, fuelled with Jack Daniels, so we all can feel safe on that long ass ride straight to hell.
Just damn tired of so called pop idols and fake-wanna-be-rock-stars that can't hold a note or even write their own songs?
Look no further! The four rock n' roll drifters in Cirkus have got what you need, like a cocktail shot in the arm of Red Bull & Vodka mixed with Jack Daniels. They’ve got the style, look and attitude, the way rock n’ roll was meant to be. But most important of all, they’ve got great songs, an amazing live show and they can play and sing.
Cirkus was formed back in early 2005 when guitarist Snetan met the singer Roux’d. They quickly joined forces with the help of a groovy little bass player named Dee. The well oiled and fast working machine recorded the mini EP/promo "Let the Madness Begin", which was printed up in August 2005. But they knew something was missing until they heard about a bad ass cowboy called Ric who took over the drumming and became Roux’d’s personal groove bitch. This is the line up that makes Cirkus bleed, scream and have wet dreams.
In July 2006 Cirkus went back into the studio to record their slap you in your face "Shut Up N’ Suck". “Shut Up N’ Suck” has been getting great reviews from famous rock magazines such as Sweden Rock Magazine, Close-up Magazine and different papers around the world. The CD really managed to move Cirkus forward.
In January-February 2007 the band completed their first tour in California. The tour consisted of 16 shows in less then a month. During the successful tour, Cirkus became the first band to be broadcasted live on Youtube via the420channel.
Their third promo CD titled “Metal Head” contains the three kick ass rock songs Deceiver, Everlong Lasting and City Slicker, all of them with their own style which shows the diversity of Cirkus. Metal Head is mainly produced by the band members themselves, which shows more and other qualities of the band. Without any doubt, this is Cirkus absolutely finest moment.
Later in the year, Cirkus completed their second tour in California in one year. In September-October the band went across the Atlantic Ocean in order to promote “Metal Head” and do another successful tour, playing both old and new venues and once again playing a show live on Youtube.
The Swedish based group is highly fuelled on energy and they always give their fans more than a 100 percent on stage, basically an amazing show that you will never forget. Tight, well performed and as they say under the big top; Welcome to the show!
