Rouxd - vocals
Not your ordinary singer. This boy has got personal problem you won’t believe. He makes an insane person say; “boy you got problem”. Roux’d, well what can we say? Nothing, because chances are this boys mouth has already sung it. Roux’d never follows rules that have been set, he sets rules to be followed. We are sorry for his action ahead of time, please accept our deepest apologies.
Snetan - guitar
Dreaming wet dreams about his guitar heroes and of a time when walking the streets with a six string on the back automatically meant you get to date the hottest girl in school.
Maston - bass
Packed with a full gear of energy this boy lives up to his name Maston. A mass ton of bass in your face, a mixture of old school meets new school this boy makes his own rules.
Ric - drums
Tight like a pair of slim fit Levi’s, but too bad the poor little drummer boy can’t afford that kind of pants. Bad to the bone, he wears his old jeans with holes barley hanging on him. He’s dubbed as Roux’d’s personal groovy bitch. Ric drives the car, so we all can feel safe on that long ass ride straight to hell.
2005 - Only three months into the building of Cirkus the band releases their first EP/demo Let the Madness Begin. It sells on iTunes and other digital online stores without any advertisement. This stamps the start of Cirkus. The demo receives airplay on the local student radio and Swedish public service radio station P4, which sends Cirkus to play in front of 5 000 people at that years last of April outdoor festival in Uppsala.
2006 - The second EP/Demo to the bands assault is entitled Shut Up N’ Suck. This see Cirkus straight ahead, no holds barrage. The CD slaps you in the face without even knowing what you did wrong. A must have CD and not for the weak hearted or church goers. With the release of this EP brings Cirkus to the US on their first tour in SoCal. Receiving rave reviews and critical acclaim from Europe to Southern California, Cirkus's live performances win over even the biggest sceptics. Cirkus became the first band to ever be broadcast live on YouTube via the 420 Channel.
2007 - The band recorded their third EP, 3-tracks promo proudly named Metal Head. Some quotes say: “Rock n’roll, it just comes up and rocks hard!” The closing material "City Slicker" is a snappy number in the style of AC/DC, music plus a vox a ..la Brian Johnson. This is an original composition.” After having received great responds from the American public Cirkus embarks on their second and harder tour covering more ground and playing new venues in some new areas.
2008 - After releasing three successful EP's for three years straight, Cirkus finished their full on frontal assault debut album titled Let the Madness Begin together with musical genius Chris Tsangarides, a Grammy nominated producer and mixing engineer for bands such as Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Bruce Dickinson and Yngwie Malmsteen. Let the Madness Begin was released in the US in November 2008 and in the rest of the world in March 2009. It’s called a shock to the system and senses so what better way to describe a Cirkus attack than Let the Madness Begin. The songs, the sound and the quality of the album speak for itself. The album got some great reviews so far as well as air play all over the world.
2009 - Cirkus embarks on their third American tour which sees the band cover more ground playing close to 20 shows in five states within 40 days and travelling 12 000 miles (19 000 km). Cirkus plays live on one of Americas biggest morning shows, FOX 5 San Diego, in front of 1.5 million people and get great responds that headlines their own show.
This year holds some very exiting news. Cirkus are currently getting ready to record their second album, this time collaborating with the mastermind Jay Messina, well known for his work with bands as Aerosmith, Kiss, Cheap Trick, Slash’s Snakepit and many more. The band will also keep touring to support Let the Madness Begin.
