If you only listen to hip-hop, you may not dig my sound. I grew up listening to vinyl, and heard nothing but the best. My groove is not centered around loops and beats, it's vocals, lyrics, and melody--old school. I was fortunate to be fed the jazz and swing from my father, gospel from my mother, and from my older brothers I got funk, soul, R&B, a little pop, and more jazz.
