PRESS:
"Blinded By Vision" CD:
Weary of over-hyped guitar bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the White Stripes? Clatter eliminates guitar clutter altogether with a line-up consisting solely of bassist Amy Humphrey and drummer Joe Hayes. Employing a myriad of mind-altering effects most closely associated with the various permutations of very heavy metal (distortion, flange, delay) Humphrey emerges as polyrhythmic pyrotechnic by slapping, riffing and soloing in the grand tradition of Larry Graham (Sly & the Family Stone), Les Claypool (Primus) and Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath). Hayes is no slouch either, gamely grooving with tasty fills and inventive call-and-response phrasing. This is a fine audio library for aspiring hard-rock bassists and prog aficionados.

"Blinded in Boonville" DVD:
The bass-and-drums duo of Amy Humphrey and Joe Hayes proves that a stripped-down lineup doesnt necessarily yield an anemic soundClatter sounds huge on this concert DVD. The disc boasts a rockin show in the groups hometown, and the camera mounted on Amys Rickenbacker makes it a whole lot easier to cop a few of her cool licks.
(Bass Player Magazine, December 2004)
This unique husband-and-wife drums-and-bass duo boldly alt-rock out on this live DVD without any other bandmates (or samples to emulate them). Amy Humphreys bi-amped rig impressively spans bass and guitar tones, and she sings and digs in with her distinctive two-fingered claw technique on a burly Rickenbacker throughout.

Hello from Japan!! just stop to say our information. next our "Bigfish live show" is scheduled on 7th December at Kichijoji MANDA-LA2, Tokyo. Three Japanese Female peaceful singers; Hana Saito, NAORYU and Rika Shinohara play there. Their performings sound folky heart-warm and acoustic. thanks for checking our live information. We hope everything is good in your life ! ARIGATO
Hey guys, I listened to Monarch while I was out on a walk today. I love that record so much. I keep hearing new stuff, or the same stuff in a new way, I guess. Today I was really enjoying the vocal harmonies and just really drawn to them a lot. Everything else is awesome too, though. I never noticed the piano on Nighttime before! Who plays that? As always, I can't wait to hear some new Clatter tunes!!!
Kirksville's college radio station has a local music show that runs every Thursday night. They've asked me to deliver music worthy of airplay. Send me your music so that you can make fans over the airwaves & play some shows!
All music must meet FCC requirements (basically that means no swearing)! Be sure to include the artists name & listing of the tracks so the DJ knows the song title & artist.

Howdy(Texans supposed to say that?)! Thanks for the add, thanks for the great music you're sharing with the world, and for being the real people you are.
Hey, y'all! Just stopped by and read your industry blog. I haven't read the links yet, but the situation and the feelings you describe are right on. You ARE your record label, for better or worse. Can be wonderful and draining. Thanks for posting that!
Did you see this last night? Rush's first US TV appearance in 30+ years! http://www.comedycentral.com/colbertreport/full-episodes/index.jhtml?episodeId=175837
Hi! It was great to meet you guys in person as well! It was a great show, and a beautiful evening. I'm so glad I got to come and see you play. I would absolutely love to collaborate sometime! Just name the time and I'll be there! Talk to you soon!
One thing I love about my day job is I can surf around MySpace and listen to music on headphones while working in another window.
There's so much music out there in the world, I'll never find the time to hear it all.
So why do I come back to some pages and listen to the same thing all over again? I'll surf to another page after "House of Trouble" ends. Oh, wait... "For Her" is good, too. That'll be the last one and then I'll go before the next one starts... Darn, okey. "Nighttime" and then that's it...
All we had to do was restore anti-matter containment, and we were on our way. Thanks for the Di lithium charge! Our supply is obviously low. When we get back to Earth, we'll find an engineer or something...
Y'all are great! Wonderful meeting you; hope to share a stage again soon. Maybe we could play Risa sometime?

CH tx hey, I hope it's a great gig. They will probably be playing quite a few of their new (post Time On Earth) songs which should be interesting.
As for me, I've been doing a few gigs with different bands but not much in the studio from a Beatworld perspective. I have been recording my daughter Katie however which is great fun working together. We just spent a week on Rottnest Island just off Perth which was very relaxing. Lots of snorkeling. I bet you guys had fantastic time in Europe, sure looked like you did judging by the pics. Take care both of you. Murray
