"Clockwork Radio are totally unlike any other indie or rock band out there at the moment and for making this as interesting as possible without over indulging, I really do applaud this quintet."

“Essentially an epic but considered style, their music is effortlessly “large” with Williams’ vocals powerful & melodic”

"i listened to this track a good 10 times on the trot - and still hadn't had enough of it... an excellent combination of stylistic elements, with great attention to detail applied to the construction and orchestration... very impressive work indeed.
Suffice it to say that i really liked Lost, but i think you might have guessed that, eh?
Clockwork Radio - be very, very proud of this."

"Serious acoustic folk pop debauchery from Clockwork Radio with these two tracks. Hypnotic keyboard swirls and thumping drumbeats make 'State of Mind' a tidy effort to graduate from the Belle & Sebastian school of quirk. The crashing, prog rock, hypnotic drive of the instrumental track 'Zeppy' (I misread this initially as Zippy, the large yellow glove puppet that hung around my childhood in the 1980's. If you're unsure of what this exactly then go and ask your older siblings) is an odd way to spend just over three minutes of your time. A bit like watching archive Top of the Pops footage of the early psychedelic bands. You have no idea what the hell is going on but rather enjoy it anyway. Especially if Jimmy Saville is involved."

"This weeks demo comes from Clockwork Radio, a band from North Wales after a 'big sound", and that's certainly what they've got! Their track 'Lost' is an epic slice of cinematic, indie action that will make haird stand on end from Cardiff to Caernarfon"
The Square Festival
"Another North Wales Band, now residing in Manchester. Utterly
charming/intelligent/purposeful Definitely worth making a note of."

"With a slight Celtic twinge and a fluctuating style to this 5-track EP's opening song Foxtrot Bravado, Clockwork Radio feel like a band out to grab your attention, and it works quite well with the insistently strummed guitar, clattering drums and string backing, whilst lead singer Rich Williams has a good voice in a Starsailor/Turin Brakes kind of way."
"Zeppy is an instrumental that sounds like the band covering the score from a Sega Megadrive side-scrolling shoot-em-up, and, as one would expect from such a description, is pretty good!"
