Through a heavy sound and live shows on the verge of chaos, CLOSER wants to show the true face of human soul - dark, violent and decadent. Combining Japanese
visual kei grace, metal power and rock energy, their songs set deep emotions in music, contrasted by melodic piano arrangements.
Founded in 2004 at Low (vocal) and Guillaume's (guitar, piano) initiative, the band releases in 2006 a first self-produced demo CD, MIND MESS, followed by the
maxi-single THE EVIL GENTLEMEN in 2007.
CLOSER reaches the next step as Jérôme joins them on drums in autumn 2007. The band consequently gives increasingly powerful shows across France and Belgium,
noticeably the J-Music Festival in Lyon, and appears in media like Rock One and TV channel France 3 - opportunities to reach a broader audience.
After a successful oneman in Paris, and having opened for the famous Japanese band Kagrra, they release a new mini album in October, Visceral. The band's
popularity in the visual-kei milieu keeps growing as CLOSER heads J-Rock One, the first all-French VK festival in Paris Nouveau Casino on Jan. 25th 2009. Currently
preparing two new songs to be released digitally, the band opens for Undercover Slut at Paris's Locomotive on May 2nd.

A travers une musique intense et des prestations scéniques au bord du chaos, CLOSER cherche à montrer le vrai visage de l'âme humaine – noire,
violente et décadente.
Fondé à l'automne 2004 à l'initiative de Low et Guillaume, le groupe sort en 2006 une première demo autoproduite, MIND MESS,
suivie du maxi single THE EVIL GENTLEMEN l'année d'après.
CLOSER prend de l'ampleur avec l'arrivée de Jérôme à la batterie à l'automne 2007. S'ensuivent
des lives toujours plus puissants en France et en Belgique, dont le J-Music Festival à Lyon en mai 2008, ainsi des apparitions dans des media comme ROCK ONE et France 3 qui leur permettent de toucher un public plus large.
Après la première partie du groupe japonais Kagrra, à la Loco en août 2008 et la tête d'affiche du showcase J-Talents en septembre, les CLOSER sont de retour à Paris
avec un double event au Sentier des Halles les 9 et 11 octobre pour la première de leur nouvel EP, Visceral. A cette occasion, ROCK ONE leur consacre leur
première double page dans le magazine.
Début 2009, CLOSER assure la tête d'affiche du festival J-Rock One au Nouveau Casino de Paris puis enregistre deux nouveaux titres. Le 2 mai, le groupe est de retour à la Locomotive en compagnie d'Undercover Slut.
