Cloud Tissa developed a passion for music at an early age of 13 years writing his first song titled Heshima meaning "Respect" in swahili. Not long after he picked the microfone at his first public appearance in a rap battle in Nairobi,Kenya winning the competition despite the fact that it was his first time ever singing in public. He went on to release his first single titled Laumu meaning"blame" in swahili and increased his involvement in a local television program dubbed as Mizizi which propelled his single to number 1 for 8 weeks on the charts. After once again raising his level of achievement, Tissa teamed up with Rufftone and released a track called "Its Up to You" that took the airwave by storm rising to number 1 on the charts of the Metro Fm countdown and got some air play on BBC Radio and other stations.
After conquering the East African charts, Tissa set his sights on other markets and released his first album called 1st Chapter that featured songs like Sunshine Lady which its Video won the airwave in Africa and one of the very few Swahili songs to be aired in Europe Radio and Television stations.
Tissa originally from Rwanda is a kenyan raised Reggae Dancehall artist and now recides in Europe, Austria where he has released his newest album titled “Physically Fit” an interestingly articulated mixture of different ingredients like Reggae, Dancehall, Afro-fusion,R&B and hip-hop. “Physically Fit” is a free-spirited album that features dance songs like ‘Burn It’, ‘Paid’, ‘Cloud 9′ and the number 1 single ‘Physically Fit‘. The album was produced between Africa and Europe and features a large number of East African and international household musicians such as Wyre, Nameless, Risasi, german rapper PTah and top producers such as R Kay among others.Physically Fit is an album for all the club scene lovers and even for those who at times love to wind down and kick back and let their spontaneous sides take over. The album is truly feel the music, feel the vibes a high carat which distinguishes Tissa’s skills, with a sensational sound for everybody.
At his height of career the Mellow Dee voice musician has appeared in different major shows across Europe and Africa and shared stages with internationally renowned artistes like The Wailers, Sly&Robbie, Alpha Blondy, Lucky Dube and many more.
