Aztec was formed in September 2002 to provide Liverpool with a club night that would not only exist as a source of good quality house and Techno but a a wider musical base for performers and artists. Now nearly 4 years on and making the step from monthly to fortnightly Aztec not only breaks new talent but tries to introduce more followers in with a wider range of music and warm atmosphere.
Past guests include: Derrick May, Rolando, James Zabielia, Stereo MCs, Ben Sims, Surgeon, Magda, Derrick Carter, Akufen, Matthew Dear, Lee Burridge, Troy Pierce, Phil Keiran, James Holden and many more.
We have four residents: Jemmy, Stu Bradley, Ben Hughes and Denzil. We are a fortnightly night running once a month in the Lemon Lounge and once a month at either the Magnet or Carling Academy, Liverpool. Our music policy is House and techno although our second room at our "Magnet" parties can vary from Hip Hop to DnB, Deep House and Disco. Watch out for us monthly at the Lemon Lounge and check our listings for parties at the Magnet and Carling Academy. Our aim is to be the ultimate acid house party in a club with a good vibe, good crowd and sensible door fee.
