Biografía
Banda formada a inicios del 2005, orientada al heavy vieja escuela. El demo debut DEMO I, que constó con los temas Rockmetal y Blessed By Beer, fue con la alineación: Haziel (voces), Augusto (Bajo), Pocho (Batería), Nito (Guitarra), Robert (Guitarra), se lo regalaba ocasionalmente en algunas de las presentaciones de la banda a fines de ese mismo año. Luego se alejaron Pocho y Robert, dejando el puesto de baterista para Richard "O'corvo", y decidiendo continuar con una sola guitarra en la alineación. Debido a que Haziel se iba a mudar a tierras venezolanas, antes de su partida, se intentó grabar un demo que por falta de calidad nunca se lanzó. Aunque se consideró en algún momento tocar con una alineación a lo Motörhead, Tank, Raven, con Augusto en las voces, a mediados del 2006 se contactó con Harry, y encajó muy bien en la banda. Con ésta alineación se llegó a tocar en varias ocasiones hasta que en noviembre del 2006, la banda dio con Andres Rhor para apoyarlos en la guitarra en un concierto, acoplándose perfectamente con la banda y quedándose como guitarrista oficial de COBRA. Con ésta alineación se grabó el DEMO II: THE HIGHLAND WARRIOR. El 2 de abril se lanzó oficialmente el DEMO II, y gracias a ese demo se consiguió un trato con la AUSTRAL HOLOCAUST para grabar un split con la banda colombiana SKULL. Por ahora COBRA se encuentra tocando en vivo como siempre, moviendo su material y pronto entrará en la pre-producción para las próximas grabaciones, por lo pronto, se puede adelantar que las canciones ya han sido elegidas y están siendo ensayadas al máximo para pronto hacer explotar sus parlantes!!!!
Biography
Formed at the beginnigs of 2005, with the intention of playing old school heavy metal. The first production was the DEMO I, with 2 tracks: Rockmetal and Blessed By Beer, being the line-up: Haziel (Vocals), Augusto (Bass), Pocho (Drums), Nito (Guitars), Robert (Guitars), the band occasionally gave the demo for free in some presentations by the end of the same year. Then Pocho and Robert left the band, leaving the drums for O'corvo, and deciding to continue with a single guitar. Haziel had to leave the band too, because he was moving to Venezuela, so the band tried to record a second demo that never saw the light due to the lack of quality. During a period it was considered to play with a power trio line-up (like Motorhead, Tank, Raven with Augusto at the vocals) but in mid-2006 Harry was contacted, and fitted very well in the band. With this line up, the band played in different places of Lima, and in november 2006 a new member was added, Andres in the guitar. At the end of the year, they recorded the DEMO II: THE HIGHLAND WARRIOR. In April 2nd they officially released this production, and thanks to this demo they found a deal with peruvian label AUSTRAL HOLOCAUST to record a split album with Colombian band SKULL and to record their debut album on next year (2008). Right now COBRA is playing live, as always they do, moving their material and soon they'll enter to the pre-production for their new recordings. So far, it can be revealed that the songs have been already chosen and sooner your heads will be blown by Cobra's music!!!!
