Biography:
CODE OF HONOUR was founded in 2004, rising from the ashes of the then defunct hardcore/metalband Raksasas. From day one CODE OF HONOUR has been about brutal and violent music with absolutely no emphasis for trends or „the next hot thing“.

In 2005 the band entered a recording studio to forge the first demo-cdr entitled „...on grounds of battle 2005“ which gained CODE OF HONOUR a good reputation in the hardcore- and metal-underground-scene in Germany and the neighbouring countries. „...on grounds of battle 2005“ presented a raw and authentic sound without any frills, gathering inspiration from death- and thrash-metal with only slight hardcore-influences.

The months after the release were spent on stage (with bands like TEAMKILLER, SOLID GROUND, THE RUMBLE and more) presenting the new material and building a foundation of supporters, friends and fans.

Unfortunately bass-player Jörg decided to call it quits and left the band. CODE OF HONOUR remained a four-piece for almost two years with Sven of DEAD FOR SEVEN WEEKS helping out in live-situations. Only a year after the release of it's predecessor the second demo-cdr „Disciples Of Brutality“ hit the shelves. The disc showed a more focussed sound of the band with more compact sounds, some new elements and a much improved production. The war-driven concept in visuals and lyrics was still there, this time enriched by samples which added to the atmosphere of the songs.

The demo received lots of great reviews and helped CODE OF HONOUR to enter stages with bands like VADER, END OF DAYS, IN BLOOD WE TRUST, FEAR MY THOUGHTS, MIGHT OF LILITH, SHORTAGE and many, many more. New songs were written and the line-up was reinforced with the new full-time bass player Daniel.

In early 2007 the loss of CODE OF HONOUR'S long time drummer Daniel caused a major delay to the release plan. It took almost 6 months to find a replacement which fit on a personal and musical level. Luckily Chiir popped up from day one kicked some major ass with his fast and precise drumming.

Code Of Honour entered Tonmeisterei studio in August 2008 and released "Visions Of Chaos" in August 2009 on Classwar Records.

CODE OF HONOUR played shows with bands like VADER, BRUTAL TRUTH, END OF DAYS, IN BLOOD WE TRUST, TEAMKILLER, FEAR MY THOUGHTS, MISERY SPEAKS, MIGHT OF LILITH, SHORTAGE and many more.
