   About codex machine

Codex Machine are: Ms Codex, Dellamorte, & Speednik.

A trio of musicians/producers/DJs with a shared vision of creating interesting, innovative and downright sexy electronica, moving between breakbeat, drum ’n’ bass and atmospheric grooves. They currently work out of North London.

They rose from the rubble of various obscure indie bands to be resurrected as a triple-headed electronic chimera. So far they have been feted by Annie Nightingale, Huw Stephens, Rob da Bank and Bethan Elfyn of Radio 1, as well as other regional and U.S. stations. Described variously as "brilliant", "cinematic", "gorgeous", "flippin’ great" "awesome" and "breakthrough gems".

Their personal highs so far include a half-hour mix for ’Queen Of Breaks’ Annie Nightingale’s Radio 1 show, an appearance in her Top Ten Tracks Of 2005 (for ’Love Requiem’), half hour mixes for Huw Stephens on BBC Radio Cymru & Adam Walton on BBC Radio Wales, and Dellamorte’s residencies at Rock Steady nights @ London club The Bedroom Bar (see Rocksteady in the top friends list) and fortnightly show on www.ibreaks.co.uk

Tom Jones has got a new single coming out.

It's a duet with Van Morrison.

They sound like two bull seals who have forgotten how to bark.

It's a horrid, horrid record and DIRECT ACTION is required NOW if we in Wales aren't going to be tainted by association.

Cleanse yourself and the musical reputation of a nation by listening to last night's edition of the Musical Mystery Tour on BBC Radio Wales.

It is the best week of the year, so far, for new Welsh music, in my opinion.

Listen by clicking here.

The show is available for the next 6 days.

Please e-mail any music for consideration for next week's show to:

themysterytour@gmail.com

Or post it to:

Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales, Library and Arts Centre, Rhosddu Rd., WREXHAM LL11 1NF

thank you, have a good, safe, sunburn-free week!

Hello Codex Machine,

Thank you for the birthday wishes,

could you re-email that most recent track of yours, please?

I appear to have lost it. Sorry.

Hey! Hope you are doing well.....what a rainy weekend!!?! I'm in London now.......about to start the tour. I don't know if you are playing a show on June 24th or not, but i thought i'd let know that i'm playing in London on that night at the Half Moon Putney. Tommy Allsup, who played with Buddy Holly, will be with me that night.......he is 75, and full of stories.....he is the guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens for the seat on the plane.
Anyway, i hope you are doing well, and i hope to get to meet you on the night.
Sincerely,
Kevin Montgomery
