So maybe after finding this myspace, you’re wondering “Where did Code of Ethics (AKA Barry Blaze’s electronic alter ego) go?” Well, after 11 years of touring, living out of a suitcase and a high dose of industry burn-out, it was like Tom Hanks says in Forest Gump “when I got tired of running…. I stopped.”
I’ll admit, I just couldn’t stomach one more year of trying to position myself in the music scene or one more record exec. telling me how I should change my sound to be like the “Last Big Thing”. I was tired of not being true to my original sound and I began asking myself is this really what Jesus had in mind when he said “go and make disciples of all nations”? (Matt. 28:19) (What, to sell more records?) Crazy thing is God had a plan for my life, and all I had to do was step out of the spotlight.
It has been my greatest pleasure to lead worship for the last 6 years and understand my small role in His great design. But after a near-fatal motorcycle crash (more info on Barryblaze.com) three years ago, I re-evaluated who God created me to be. I now understand I can fulfill my passion for both, leading worship and writing and recording as an artist.
My desire for the spotlight has long faded and I know each day that I wake up and breathe in and out is a precious gift from my savior. I am still excited to be on this wonderful journey through God’s grace.
So thanks for listening throughout the years. Stay tuned, there is more of the original electronic COE sound to come.

Hi, Super Hero ENT. (LLC) is starting up again after a hiatus of activity. We are focusing on fulfilling custom needs of many artists as opposed to working exclusively with a handful of artists. What custom needs to you need fulfilled? We have a list of suggested services on our page but are open to suggestions. Perhaps you would be interested in just switching your current services with those that might be slightly cheaper or just need someone to make calls for you. Talk it over with your group and reply with what you think would serve you best. Best of luck on your activities!
hey barry! miss you! when will you make O HOLY NIGHT available again? i'm decorating my profile for Christmas again.
i hope you will be playing a local fest again soon. haven't touched base with you since journeyfest 08! i hear there's a really cool festival in may next year. supposed to combine journeyfest and real fest. nothing is the same since pastor jeff passed away. God bless you; hope to see you soon!
Heyyoo! Thank you for adding me! it really mean a lot! Hope you enjoy the music. So instead of leaving lame "Download my EP on iTunes" comment" I am known for leaving you off with a gnarly joke from my favorite comedian Mitch Hedberg!
"I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry, and that's extra scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Look out, he's fuzzy, let's get out of here."
