I Coffee Shock nascono nel 2009, fondati da Donatella Canepa, chitarrista,compositrice e autrice e Francesco Ottonello "Fra Vega", cantante e autore di molti testi. Il gruppo non ha una sezione ritmica fissa: il basso nelle registrazioni è attualmente suonato da Donatella, che si occupa anche degli arrangiamenti di tutti gli strumenti,la batteria è improvvisata a seconde dalle situazioni. Il genere che viene fuori è una fusione fra punk, pop, rock e sonorità moderne, grazie alle diverse origini musicali di Donatella e Francesco. Nel 2011 esce il loro primo disco, Reazione Kimica-prodotto, registrato e mixato da Donatella, acquistabile su richiesta all'email del gruppo: coffeeshock@altervista.org (EN) The Coffee Shock born in 2009, founded by Donatella Canepa, guitarist, composer and author Francesco Ottonello " Fra Vega", singer and author of many texts.
