A day in a coffee shop becomes a comic, charming, bitter-sweet journey through 25 years of psychotherapy.

Darnell Shacklebee, proprietor of Escape the Daily Grind, gets slammed one Saturday when there's a psychotherapist convention in town. All of his former therapists pop in for coffee, triggering a trip down memory lane. The trip includes decades of therapy, family conflict, and misdiagnoses. Runtime 85 minutes. Not rated.

Shot primarily in Salisbury, North Carolina. Premiered at Cackalacky Film Festival October 21, 2006.
