Coker Cline Music - Two Guys that Love Music --
Coker and Cline, longtime friends, are independent songwriters and performers who teamed up a few years ago to write incredibly touching, uplifting and comical songs. Right from the start it was clear that these two were meant to be a writing team. From their first writing session, their distinctly different styles and varied backgrounds seemed to work together perfectly. From that point forward they became committed to writing music - together. These boys have created a wealth of music with roughly 30 songs under their belt and have been working tirelessly in the studio cutting demos. They are affiliated with a number of industry organizations, including ASCAP, NSAI, ACM, CCMA to name a few. --
Hugh Cline, an East Coast native, has been performing all over the country since the age of 15. A talented musician, he plays a variety of instruments including Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo and an occasional rain stick. His background harmonies and arranging skills are top notch. He has placed songs in Independent Films, TV Commercials and documentaries. And he's performed and recorded with artists like Laura Burgo, Aynee Osborn, Chad Watson, Cory Wells and Mary White. --
Brett Coker, born and raised in a small Kansas town was a music major in College with an emphasis in voice. Although his heart was always in Country music, his classical training took him touring throughout the Mid-West with over 100 performances per year. After moving to Los Angeles, he became a protégé of the Seth Riggs Vocal Technique. He studies under the direction of Florence Riggs, one of the top vocal coaches in the country. And through her urging, he has been privately teaching the method for the last seven years. Although likely to deny it in a crowd, he plays the piano and clarinet and does a bang up job on the sleigh bells. --
