Coldread (pronounced cold-reed) made their mark upon the world with their music and their undeniably impressive kinetic live energy and show. As an example of their abilities and sound, they were named one of the top finalists in the "Battle for Ozzfest" competition held in 2004, after being a band for only one month. Since that time they have played over 500 shows, gained major sponsors including: Jagermeister, Dean Markley Strings, Halo Guitars, Sik World, Blacklight.com and Coffin Cases. They played the Jagermeister stage in the Massachusetts Locobazooka Festival in 2005, and have shared the stage with the likes of Dope, Mushroomhead, Bloodhound gang, Bile, Clutch, Seemless, Adema, Coretez, and God Forbid. I in late 2005 Coldread joined forces with Max Illidge (40 Below Summer/Black Market Hero) to record their CD "Together We All..." Coldread exist in this industry not only to create great music, but also to relay their message of hope, purpose, and understanding.
