Sounds Like
Mansun covering War Of The Worlds using as many ill advised synthesiser sounds as possible.
Four modern gentlemen from Nottingham via Leicester, Hull and Pontypridd, Computerman gaffer tape their influences together and then fall over themselves while attempting to convert this influences and gaffer tape ball into bursts of frenzied guitar driven synth pop melodrama. Frequently they succeed.
Under the watchful eye of Must Destroy records, released the single No More Broken Hearts / Watch More Television and managed to get their faces all over the NME Chart's Hot New Ones, then sodded off on tour with Bristol's extremely fine The Fallout Trust, all got very ill, recorded a second single due for release in late 2006, decided to shelve that, and wrote some more songs about monorails, microchips, the fragility of airliners, feedback systems and nuclear war. These songs gradually became an albums worth, and that where you find the band now, in a studio, finishing their debut.
Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.

Medes is the solo project of producer AJ Cookson. Known for his remix work under alter-ego Forma (tKatKa, Death From Above 1979, The Knife, Matthew Rozeik, Score One For Safety), and formerly as the frontman for the explosive band The Montauk Projekt (“…some kind of locked on noise-bastard two-piece” – Organ Magazine), AJ has been a regular contributor to 100m collective projects since the label’s inception and has collaborated with many of the collective’s acts. He now delivers this outstanding and long awaited debut solo collection.
