   About Comus
You dangling swinging
Hanging, spinning, aftermath
Your soft white flesh turns past me slaked with blood
Your evil eyes more damning than a demon's curse
Your lovely body soon caked with mud
As I carry you to your grave my arms your hearse
You stand before me defenceless
Your stare unchanging silent, cold, intense sears my brain

Hey, hey
Drip drip from your sagging lip
Liquid red down your body spread
Your soft breast glistens your deep navel fountains
Your shadow over chair
Your shadow over chair
Your shadow over chair like a 'plane over mountains

Hey drip drip Hey drip drip Hey drip dripa La-lalalalaa la-la-la-la-la-la-laa la-la-la-la-laa La-lalalalaa la-la-la-la-la-la-laa la-la-la-la-laa

Have you caught the YouTube footage of the Comus reunion footage?!? Here's Song for Comus:

http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=WPEou-E-5ME

Bunch more Comus live links there - five of the six original players are there. The flute player was replaced by the violinist/singer's husband for this gig a few months ago.

Figured you might be into it, being fellow Comus fans!

Hi Comus,
Thankyou immensly for the add. I am come late to your great folk music. Hoping to discover more. This is pleasureably great stuff here. Always knew the best English folk happened during the explosion of 60's/70's. The new folk revivalist would agree.
Best Wishes from Idaho.

Thanks for the add: you're in my "Top Friends" al last! In my opinion First Utterance was a milestone Lp (...folk? rock? prog? acid? psych?: no labels for it!). What a marvellous & inspiring recording! Highly original and innovative (I also like To Keep From Crying, but it's from another time another place...) - Greetings from Venice, Italy

Do you know if Roger Wooten ever made any other music post-comus, or any similar bands? because man I listen to First Utterance constantly, and I just can't seem to fill the void in me for more comus related material or at least something with a somewhat similar sound. I think this was utter genious, we need more creative bands these days
