Constant State of Terror are a DIY Hardcore Punk band from Brighton in the UK. We have all been active in the UK DIY Hardcore Punk scene to some degree or another for more years we care to remember and have played in bands such as SUBSTANDARD, MTA, VULCAN DEATH GRIP, SEVEN ARROWS IN YOUR BASTARD HEART and COMBAT SHOCK. We got together late in 2004 and played our first gig shortly after in April 2005. In November 2005 we recorded our demo. We're always on the lookout for gigs, and we're always interested to play anywhere especially places we haven't been to yet.
The demo is OUT NOW as a 7" on Tadpole Records
The LIBERATION 7" is out now! On Inflammable Material Records and Squawk Records.
Finally, we have some demo cd's still available, as well as some t-shirts and the 'Same Day Different Shit' comp 7"s (featuring us, Whole In The Head, Pilger, Haywire, Crash The Pose and No Substance). For the moment please take a look at the website, and contact us there if you want anything!

Fans of '80s anarcho / peace punk take note - BURNT CROSS just crossed a time warp and they are here to fly the flag of anthemic, politically charged melodic punk. The vocals (and lyrics) are the highlight here, appealing to the lowest common denominator in the same way as classic bands like SUBHUMANS and CRASS..... I realise that those are lofty comparisons, and I certainly do not think that BURNT CROSS reaches that status, but their delivery is certainly comparable. These are infectious tunes, so catchy that not only did i forget the drum machine, I fucking forgot it was there before the first song was over. How good is this record ? I have already fired off an e-mail to the label, ordering myself copies of the first two BURNT CROSS EPs. (MRR#316)
