CONTINUUM-144 is an onslought of inspired aggression ranging from polyrhythmic grooves to soaring melodic tonalities. Each song a template for pure savagry and controlled chaos. The Continuum_144 emblem is based on a slanted two dimensional diagram representing the kabballah and the zodiac. When the emblem is 3D the kabballah becomes evident. It is known that the astrological signs of the zodiac are synonymous with the sepheroth or "spheres"of the kabballah. It is also known that the sepheroth represent the solar system and are a physical and meta-physical allegory for the universe. The macrocosm and microcosm. Thus linking the heavens (zodiac) to our physical (earth) reality. Perhaps a lesser known fact is that, although the kabballah is linked to the zodiac via the music of the spheres or our spiritual, allegorical, symbolic ,macrocosmic pardigm, the zodiac are also inextricably linked direcly to the earth (and ultimately the human anatomy) via specific power points or "vortecies" all over the planet. Corrisponding to their respective astrological signs, these vortecies act as anchors or electromagnetic grid corrispondence points for each individual astrological cluster.As above.. So below.. BIOGRAPHY

Continuum 144 (Archetype_144) was formed in the summer 2008 by former members of Savage Henry & Archetype_144. Both bands formed originally in southern Oregon eventually parted ways before & after moving to Portland & not long after formed what is now the current lineup. After differences by drummer & guitarist where resolved, they finally decided to form Continuum_144 & start practicing at Bongo Fury. They have played quite a few shows in 2009 & 2010 across most of the Metropolitan, Beaverton & Vancouver areas alongside acts such as Von Doom, The Deep Sea Vents, Extractor, Year of the Serpent, Titarius, The Monster Addict, Damuara, Excrutiator, Legions, Only Zuul, Heathen Shrine, Blastfemur, Atherium, Thistle Stalk, Wild Boar Cannery, Kingdom Under Fire, Fear the Slaughter, The Odious, Warner Drive & Crows hold grudges just to name a few. Continuum_144 is currently writing new material without a permanent vocalist & is anxious to continue playing shows as soon as they find the right person & can truly be a part of this metal legacy. It should also be stated that Jake & JD have played in almost every band they have been in since 1998 including Archetype_144, The Hell Candidates & Electronomicon. Shannon & Jake used to jam on some now Continuum_144 songs(Chemical Hologram, Flames of the Requiem Mass)in 2001.
