Who is CWLA? COPWATCH Los Angeles is a program dedicated to the struggle that will end police terrorism through collecting information on and observing police activity, offer support for those caught in the criminal (in)justice system, fight for change without a reformist consciousness, and ultimately work side-by-side with oppressed communities to create Revolutionary alternatives to policing, prisons, and all systems of domination, oppression and exploitation.
Our Goals:
- Form neighborhood patrols within the communities we live - Offer support to those people and their families harassed, brutalized and/or murdered by law enforcement agencies - Develop intelligence through research and study groups - Share resources, education, and trainings with communities interested in supporting and/or creating a COPWATCH program - Participate in the process of building autonomy, self-determination, and the self-organization of our many communities

ALL OUT for counter-NAZI MARCH in Riverside Saturday!!!!!!

They are calling for a county-wide protest of day labor sites to try to appeal to those who are angry about the immigration situation in this country and to divide the native-born from our immigrant brothers and sisters.

We realize that there is a diversity of opinion when it comes to the topic of immigration, and we respect different viewpoints and value dialogue.

However, we will NOT allow the Nazis to scapegoat our immigrant brothers and sisters, regardless of whether or not they have papers, in an attempt to appeal to the poor, unemployed, and uneducated as they seek to build their nation of "Only those of pure White blood."*

That's why we, people from all different races, religions, and political ideologies, old and young, gay and straight, documented and undocumented, join together to denounce this group and declare our UNITY AGAINST RACISM.

Our family recently suffered a devastating loss. However we understand the cycles life and for now all we can do is honor and REPLICATE the example of life that our Brother left behind as his legacy. The loss of our Brother Lalo and his beautiful daughter was felt all through out the hemisphere without a doubt. He stood for unity and Strictly Movement; and by his actions uplifted the warrior spirit of his family, comrades and Nation on a daily basis...
The following painting is being auctioned throughout the months of September and October and all proceeds will be donated to the Angulo family.
