First off, thanks to the real fans for judging us by our music. We’re doing this for you guys. Second, to anyone who doubts us, you’re welcome to change the channel. Special thanks to everyone who shut a door in our face, without you guys we would never have been motivated to do any of this. Coq Roq was formed in 2004 by me, Fowl Mouth, and Free Range. We recruited The Talisman after we saw him play at this club downtown because he could straight up rip. Then we added Kabuki, even though he’s not that great at guitar, (which he admits) he looks good, with all those tats and whatnot. Finally we added Sub-sonic when we saw his classified in the Georgia Straight. We played a few shows, and thought about adding a second drummer until we saw Firebird at a traveling circus. He was the fire breather in the sideshow, and he straight burned down the big top, bro. We’re nothing but oddities ourselves, so he fit right in. We haven’t had any complaints since, except for noise complaints. Bugaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwk.
Gotta say I love the whole gimic and sound you guys have. You definately need to cut a cd. And if at all possible come tour in Michigan. It'd be the shit to see you guys live.
